What data we process

When you submit the enquiry form, we process the information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, wedding date and location, Instagram handle if supplied, how you heard about us, and your message. For security purposes, we may temporarily process your IP address, submission time and technical browser information.

When you use the website, information about your visit may be processed after you give consent, including pages visited, approximate location, device type and traffic source. Details are provided in our Cookie Policy.

Purposes and legal bases

  • replying to enquiries, preparing an offer and taking steps before entering into a contract,
  • performing a contract and communicating about photography services,
  • protecting the website against spam and misuse on the basis of legitimate interests,
  • complying with legal obligations, including accounting and tax obligations,
  • analytics and marketing measurement only on the basis of consent where required.

How long we keep data

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for no longer than three years after the last communication, unless longer retention is necessary to protect legal claims. Contract and accounting information is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the statutory retention periods, generally ten years for accounting records. Security logs are retained only for as long as necessary.

Who may receive the data

Data may be processed, where necessary, by providers of hosting, email, website administration and security, analytics tools, and other suppliers needed to deliver the service. We do not sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
