Behind the camera
I’m Daniel. You can be yourself in front of my camera.
I believe the best photographs are not made on command. They happen while you laugh with the people you love, hug your parents and, for a moment, stop noticing the camera.
I have been taking photographs since I was fifteen. At eighteen I moved to Bratislava and started shooting for STAR magazine at Starproduction. Later I worked with Slovenka, TV Markíza and the magazines OK!, Trendy Bývanie and La Femme, and I also gained experience in Vancouver. It was a school of working with people and of moments that never repeat.
At weddings all of this came together. I love capturing what happens on its own and also creating a thoughtful portrait. And I love that the result is photographs people come back to many years later.
During the ceremony and personal moments I step back and observe. During portraits and group photos I speak up, help and guide. When a joke helps, it simply belongs there. I want you and your guests to feel good around me and focus on your day.

How I work
What a day with me looks like
Before the wedding
I want us to get to know each other before the wedding. We go through your ideas and the timeline, and plan the photography so there is room for portraits, family and the celebration itself. On the day you know exactly what to expect from me.
On the day
Most of the day I observe and stay out of the way. During portraits and family photos I give you simple, clear direction, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.
After the wedding
I carefully select and edit the photographs into one complete gallery. You receive it within 30 working days, together with prints and a USB drive according to your collection.
When I am not photographing
I am a husband and a father of two. When I am not photographing, I spend time with my family, run, do strength training and travel. Movement and time outdoors help me clear my head.
In 2023 I walked the Hero Trail of the Slovak National Uprising (Cesta hrdinov SNP) in 23 days and connected it with a charity fundraiser. As a father I also see how quickly ordinary things change. That is why I love photographs where people stay exactly as they were in that moment.
A wedding I love to remember
Katja and Gera’s wedding in Tbilisi, Georgia. It brought together two things I love, photography and travel. When I look at those photographs today, I also remember everything I experienced on that trip.
Who I click with
Open people with a sense of humour who care about their photographs and are willing to trust me. You do not need to be used to the camera. What matters more is that we can talk normally and feel good together, and that we agree on what should stay in the photographs: the two of you, your people and the atmosphere of your day.
