The historic interior and large park give a wedding day two distinct moods. The plan does not need to be complicated: decide where family groups will gather, where the soft light is and what to do if the weather changes.
The château's strength is variety within a small area. A couple does not need to travel elsewhere to create a gallery with different moods.
A historic interior with character
Darker rooms, wood and original details create a different atmosphere from a clean modern venue. Instead of fighting them, I use directional light and let the interior look authentic.
The official website lists several rooms of different sizes. Confirm current availability and rules directly with the venue because the layout of your wedding affects which areas can be used.
A garden ceremony and family photographs
Immediately after the ceremony the family is already together, making group photographs much easier. We need even light and one person who knows the guests.
There is no compulsory list of every possible combination. We photograph the groups that matter to you and begin with the largest so people can gradually return to the celebration.
Short portraits in the park
The park allows portraits without travel. Ten to fifteen minutes after the ceremony and a short session later in the evening often create two different sets.
If the sun is harsh, shade from trees or the building will be more useful than a famous view where everyone has to squint.
Rain and the evening celebration
In rain we can work with the character of the interior, covered entrances and brief dry moments outside. A backup plan does not create a weaker gallery; it only changes the order and location of a few photographs.
Baška and Dany's story shows the historic rooms, family moments and the energy of the evening. It is a more honest picture of the venue than one photograph of an empty building.
