Newlyweds during their wedding portrait session

3. August 2026

How much does a wedding photographer cost in 2027?

Two wedding photography offers can have the same price and still include very different services. Coverage, experience, consistency, delivery time, printed photographs, backup equipment and the attention you receive before the wedding all affect the final value.

Typical price ranges in Slovakia

€400 - €900 - photographers building their experience or coverage of only part of the day.

€900 - €1,800 - the most common range for experienced photographers covering most or all of the wedding day.

€1,500 - €2,500 - established photographers with a recognisable style, consistent full galleries and a refined client experience.

€2,500 and above - sought-after photographers and destination weddings, often booked well in advance.

What affects the price most?

The main factors are the number of hours, the photographer’s experience and style, the number of delivered photographs, extras such as a second photographer or an album, travel and the amount of individual editing.

Why the cheapest offer is rarely the best comparison

A low price is not automatically a problem, but it is worth asking what makes it possible. Less experience, no backup equipment, inconsistent editing or unclear delivery terms can create risks that only become visible after the wedding.

How to compare real value

Compare the same scope of work: hours of coverage, minimum number of photographs, delivery time, prints, travel costs and booking conditions. Then look at complete galleries, not only selected portraits.

Your photographs are one of the few parts of the wedding that will gain value with time. Choose the service, style and person you trust - not only the lowest number at the bottom of a quote.
